For this second Master of the season, the draw revealed a nice surprise! Our players padel French will have a lot to do in their respective first rounds.

In boys

In all these are 5 French participating in the men's tournament.

Four of them will be on the slopes this Saturday in preprevias. We find it now traditional pair Bergeron (109) / Vasquez (166), which will be opposed to 11h to the legendary Matias Nicoletti (115) and his young partner Adrian Rodriguez (314). A match that seems within the reach of the Franco-Swedish pair.

Unlike previous tournaments, Bastien Blanqué and Thomas Leygue will not share the track in Valladolid. Bastien (115) will be associated with Nicolas Suescun (99), a Top 100 player that we have already seen at work with Jérémy Scatena in particular. Seeded number 6, the Toulousain and the Argentinian will start their tournament in the second round of the preprevias, at 19h.

Thomas Leygue (308) will be associated with the Mexican Pablo Diaz Del Guante (289), and they will face to 09h a pair that has a wild card: Ask (431) / Sjovall (352). This association between the Norwegian and the Finn seems within the reach of the new Franco-Mexican duo!

Finally, still Saturday, at 12h, Max Moreau (252) and his new partner Alvaro Delgado (270) will face the Frenchman's former partner Oscar Vazquez (185) and Ignacio Sager (387). A big fight in perspective!

Sunday is Benjamin Tison (86) and Teo Zapata (77) who will make their debut, in the first round of the previas, against a pair of qualifiers, which could be Leygue / Diaz Del Guante! We're not there yet.

In the ladies

Among the girls, three Frenchwomen will be present in Valladolid. The first to start will be Mélissa Martin (112th), who with Rebeca Lopez (118th) will face a pair not easy to maneuver: Laia Bonilla (84th) / Lourdes Pascual (130th). The meeting will take place on Monday at 19h !

The big event of this draw of the French is the duel between our two best French players in the round of 16 of the main draw !

Indeed, Wednesday at 18:45 p.m., Alix Collombon (30th) and Jessica Castello (29th) will face Léa Godallier (37th) and Ariadna Canellas (50th) ! A real surprise and we can't wait to see them at work on the slopes of Valladolid! Always a shame to face each other from the start of the competition, but the good news is that we will inevitably have a Franco-Spanish pair in the round of XNUMX!
