Two weeks ago, we conducted a poll on Facebook to see if you prefer to play indoor when the weather was nice and the conditions were ideal. We collected 564 votes.

Thanks to you, we can read a trend: You prefer outdoor when the weather is nice!

Silly question ? Not that much. Even if you have been 68% to vote "play outdoor" when the conditions are ideal outside, other 32% voted to "play indoor" despite good outdoor conditions.

This is perhaps the number that surprises. You are 32% prefer to play indoor even though there is no wind, ideal temperature and the weather is nice.

This also confirms what we observed at WinWin Padel de l'Arbois. It could happen that the weather was very nice, no wind and a good temperature, yet most of the players would go to play in the indoor grounds of the club.

By asking the question to some players, some of us speak more often of comfort of game and of habit:

  • We are sure that there is no wind
  • We do not have the sun in the figure
  • The comfort of the indoor is too good

Yet comfort, in our opinion, also means playing outdoors with natural daylight, for example, and above all breathing… But obviously, the players do not all agree.
