500 practitioners padel in France

Le padel everywhere is experiencing a meteoric rise: there are nearly 20 million practitioners in 90 countries around the world.

If Argentina and Spain – where it has become the first racket sport – have several million followers, the International Federation of padel reports 44 member countries around the world.

Entered into the bosom of the FFT in 2014, this sport is in full development in France. The number of practitioners is estimated at 500 in France, with nearly 000 tracks (i.e. +1% compared to 273) of padel referenced FFT and 526 clubs (i.e. +28% in one year).

In addition, the FFT is committed to supporting the construction of 1 new tracks in France by 000.

As part of the government's "5 local sports grounds" plan, the FFT has signed an agreement for this purpose with the National Sports Agency, which will support the creation of 000 padel in France, in addition to the 500 others in which the FFT will invest.
