The second edition of Milano Premier Padel barely finished, and already the organizers are delighted with the success of this edition.
Martina Riva, Municipal Councilor responsible for Sports, Tourism and Youth Policies at Milan City Hall, announced a record participation for this year's edition of Milan Premier Padel, with more than 30 spectators: “an increase of 000% compared to the previous year”.
Luigi Carraro, President of the International Federation of Padel, expressed his admiration for the sporting spectacle offered by Milan Premier Padel, last stage of Premier Padel in 2023. He stressed that “this event confirms the growing interest in padel in Italy and opens promising prospects for the 2024 circuit. The full calendar for next year, including around 24 world-class tournaments, will be announced soon”.
The Milano Premier Padel P1 reflects the growing success of padel in Italy. According to data from the Observatory Mr. Padel Paddle, the number of courses across the country has reached 8, spread over 700 sites, an increase of 3% in one year.
