Niklas Carlson and Gustav Djurberg have decided to follow the trend and offer padel on the small island of Lidingo to the east of Stockolm town center.
Their project is completely crazy, they will put 4 tracks of padel on the city's outdoor ice rink all summer. The tracks will be removed on September 2 and moved to a warehouse in the city to allow the rink to regain its original use.
Demand is so strong in this area that they expect to get a very good fill rate during the summer months.
Who said the Swedes only practice winter sports?
