A1 Padel Monaco Master: Moreau and Inzerillo shine from the start

After qualifying after a match in three sets during the previas at Beausoleil, the Inzerillo/Moreau pair shone again this Tuesday in Monaco. The tricolor pair offers a ticket for the 1/8th finals.

Opposed to the two young Argentinians Francisco Maier and Matias González, also out of qualifying, the French dictated the pace in the first set. Impeccable defensively, more enterprising and more aggressive than their opponents, Moreau and Inzerillo made the break quickly. Despite a 5/3 break, the tricolor pair remain mentally solid and manage to win the first run 6/4.

In the second set, the worst Maier/Gonzalez is gaining momentum. The games are more and more disputed and the Moreau/Inzerillo pair finally cracked. Trust has changed sides, the Argentines return to one set everywhere.

The Argentine fern ends up fading and this time it is the tricolors that stand out. The French are gaining confidence and are irresistible in attack. Francisco Maier and Matias Gonzalez drop in intensity, Moreau and Inzerillo take advantage of this to escape into the encounter. Victory in 2h10 6/4 4/6 6/2.
