APT Padel Tour: Tenerife approaching!

The APT is preparing to make its big comeback, with the Tenerife Open whose qualifications will begin this Saturday, July 23, 2022.

It's the start of the second half of the APT season Padel Tour which will start on an island which has never been visited before by Fabrice Pastor's circuit: Tenerife. This magnificent piece of land located in the Canary Islands will host most of the best APT players for a week. In reality, only a few absentees are to be deplored for this recovery tournament.

Indeed, if the Brazilians Da Cunha and Flores do not make the trip to Spain, the big absence is above all that of Franco Dal Bianco and Maxi Arce, forced to skip this competition following a his injury.

Thus, it is a most open tournament that we should attend. Several pairs will want to take advantage of the absence of the favorites to stock up on points. The number 1 dolphins, Chiostri and Alfonso, will be the players to beat next week but they will have a lot to do with the contenders who will certainly be Barrera / Britos, Allemandi / Aguirre or Julianoti / Melgratti to name a few.

This tournament will also be an opportunity to see several new pairs at work, such as Chozas / Oliveira, Ramos / Torre, Dominguez / Restivo, Del Castillo / Pérez, Andornino / Pereyra or Scatena / Exequiel Mouriño. Jérémy will not be the only tricolor present in the Canary Islands, since we will also have a Franco-Spanish pair: Inzerillo / Ruiz Bohorquez.

Jérôme Inzerillo will once again be associated with a Spaniard on the APT

As always on the APT, many nationalities will be represented. We will obviously find Spaniards, Argentineans and Portuguese, French therefore, Italians, Uruguayans, Swedes, Paraguayans, a Brazilian, but also Romanians, a Dutchman, a German, a Dane and a Hungarian! Players coming from 14 different countries, for a tournament that once again promises to be particularly international!
