In a match under high tension, the numbers got out of the Bernils / Martins trap! Following a boiling hot tie-break, Chiostri and Alfonso won 6/3 7/6!

In the other meeting, it was Julio Julianoti and Cayetano Rocafort, seeded 4, who did the job against Gutierrez / Sanchez: 7/5 6/3.
