Two pairs played their last match at the World Padel Tour Barcelona Master Final: Belasteguin/Coello and Lima/Stupaczuk.
The two duos were certainly hoping for a better exit, but they came across opponents who played at a very high level.
Facing Ruiz and Gonzalez, Bela and Coello were put in big trouble. Far from their best level, they lost 6/3 6/2 and let the Andalusians slip away in the semi-finals.
Even more severe tariff for Carlos Pozzoni's players against numbers 1. Swept 6/1 6/2, they ended their adventure with the feeling of not having been able to do much against a Lebron and a Galan at the top of their game .
It is therefore over for two pairs that will have marked the 2022 season. Indeed, Fernando and Arturo have won 4 titles (3 on the WPT, 1 on Premier Padel) and Franco and Pablo 3 (2 of Premier Padel, 1 on the WPT).
Now it is alongside other players that these four men will pursue their respective careers. Bela will start a second stage with Sanyo, Stupa will reunite with his friend Di Nenno, Coello will form a scary pair with Tapia, while Lima will start a whole new stage with Coki Nieto. Which of these pairs will be the most prolific? Answer in a few months!
