Cédric Carité: “What more must I do to deserve a selection?”

Cédric Carité, 3rd in the French championship of padel 2017 alongside Loïc Le Panse and currently “still 20th French player” says “no longer know what to do to hope at least to have a chance in an enlarged France team".

Patrick Fouquet, the coach of the French team and Alexis Salles, captain of the team gentlemen explain "want to build a team in the medium term".

The other important element: The competition to be part of the France team of padel is very rough. “Many players from padel can claim to be part of the team". The coach and the captain therefore oriented their choice towards "a young team in the ladies as in the men".

Finally, it should be remembered that the final selection for Team France Padel is not yet done. The coach explained it well a few days ago, explaining that the next few days would be very important for the contenders for the selection for women and men. There will also be a bonus to players who participate in as many tournaments as possible.

  • ha ha ha !!!!!
The Carité / Fouquet rivalry reappears within the 2019 men's selections.
There was a long time when both wanted to be DTN du padel.
Poor Carity you can mourn the team of France despite your talent recognized and proven as a captain and educator.
When we see that Salles is the coach ... and that like me we know his past padelistic of the Claude Baigts period,
it's a huge laugh that will only create internal discomfort.
Our padel booming current needs other elements to put it on the right track.
    But that's another story.

  • In an enlarged France team, do not you think that Cédric Carité's experience would have been profitable for young players? It is true that his charisma and his widely recognized competence could also have overshadowed the direction of this team!
