We will certainly remember this dantesque 8th final. Despite the loss of the first set against the pair Moreau / Corbelli de Tennis Padel Soleil (Beausoleil), the Parisians managed to take the second set after the rescue of several match points.
We ended up in a super irrespirable tie-break. We saw 2 tired pairs of long rallies 2 first sets and under pressure. However, the two pairs did not stop pushing the end of the match with reversals of incredible situations.
We weren't really playing anymore padel on the central lot of Fox's Center. Maxime Moreau made both brilliant shots, but also unimaginable mistakes, like this match point where he just has to slam the ball a few inches from the net, but which ends with an improbable “basduf” ...
We feel the white night in perspective for Maxime Moreau and Sébastien Corbelli who did not however demure in this part. Thank you to them for this game.
This win over the wire has given wings to the Clément / Di Pasquale pair in the quarter-finals since it has passed the Cape Boissé / Romanowski.
Beside, the favorites have all responded, the pair of Bois d'Arcy Tison / Maigret meet Boulade / Le Panse. And the pair Salines / Ferreyra will be the big favorite against Clement / Di Pasquale.

Question: Can a great tennis player become a great tennis player? padel ? If so, isn't it worrying for this new sport? The Spaniards are largely dominating, we must not position ourselves quickly enough and create schools of padel ? Does the FFT help with this?
Hello, schools of padel are already developing in clubs of padel. The Fox's center has a school of padel which works very well for example with a school of very promising young players. For some, we even see them landing on tournaments of padel approved. Afterwards, to compete with the Spaniards, we will have to wait a little while our system padel is put in place and that our young players grow :))) When you are a tennis player, you have facilities, but that is not everything. :) Good Sunday !
