Thomas Leygue and Johan Bergeron won today in the second qualifying round of the FIP Platinum Veneto.
Victorious 6/2 6/0 against the Italians Mismetti and Saiani, the French pair are therefore one victory away from entering the main draw. For that they will have to win tomorrow against Christian Medina and Javier Navarro.
It should be noted that Johan and Thomas are now the last two Frenchmen competing in these qualifications, Dorian De Meyer and Thomas Vanbauce having been defeated in the second round by the Italians Cremona and Cassetta with a score of 7/5 6/1. In the first round, the Bordelais had dominated the Chilean pair Lehyt / Campos in three sets: 6/4 2/6 6/2.
