Franco Stupaczuk and Alex Ruiz are splitting up!

It's a stupor on this Monday morning. Franco Stupaczuk has advertised on social media that he was ending a year and a half relationship with “Captain America Ruiz”.

It definitely moves a lot in the padel professional. After several separations occurring among pairs of players ranked outside the Top 20, we really did not imagine that those who form the 4th seed on the WPT tournaments and Premier Padel would end their association. And yet, as Stupa announced on Instagram, it's over between Alex Ruiz and him.

“After a year and a few months of training, competing, traveling and battling for every ball together, it's time to say goodbye to the Stupa-Ruiz pair.

I know that many have attached themselves to our game, but the season has been difficult and even if we have good results, the inconvenience reigns on the pitch more than off where we get along very well.

Capi, I really enjoyed playing with you, thank you for bringing me closer to your family and your whole team, I wish you the best my friend.”

A few days ago, during an interview with us, it would have been difficult to predict such a quick separation for these two players.

After only 4 tournaments, the end of the adventure between Stupa and Ruiz will probably call for cascading changes. What other pairs will split? The coming days will certainly be very eventful on the planet padel !
