French Championships: Johan Bergeron towards a fifth crown?

Already crowned four times at the French Championships in padel, Johan Bergeron will try in Toulouse to add a fifth title to his collection.

As he told us a few weeks ago, Johan Bergeron is training hard to try to be French champion for the fifth time in a row! For the moment, the Lyonnais has four titles (three with Bastien Blanqué, one with Benjamin Tison) and he therefore hopes to be able to add one to his collection this year.

As in 2021, Johan and French number 1 Benjamin Tison will be the big favorites in the competition, but they will still have to be wary of several pairs. The first, that composed of Bastien Blanqué and Thomas Leygue. Last season's unfortunate finalists proved they were capable of beating their France team-mates in the P2000 of Padel horizon, and they will be keen to do it again in front of an audience that will most certainly be committed to their cause. Especially since in the event of a victory, Bastien would be tied with Johan at the top of the list of winners among the men.

Behind, several pairs will be in ambush to try to play spoilsport. We think of Maigret/Scatena, Inzerillo/Forcin, Grue/Moreau, Authier/Lopes…

So in your opinion, will Bergeron win a fifth title, will Blanqué catch up with him in the standings, or neither?
