As advertised in a previous article, the FFT is organizing for the first time a national edition of the interclubs of padel. The clubs will meet from December 9 to 11, 2022 to compete for the titles of champions and champions of France N1 2022 on the tracks of Toulouse Padel Club.
As a reminder :
Calculated according to the ranking for the month of March, the list of selected includes the 16 best men's teams and 8 best women's teams when the rankings of the 6 best players registered by the club are added.
For this Division N1, valued at the same number of points as a P2000, any player who participates in at least one match during the final phase of National 1 will benefit from the points obtained by his team at the end of the championship.
There will be very heavy on the program since the big emblematic clubs of the padel French that you know, will indeed be present. And it's not just the name of the club that weighs since each of these clubs will bring back the crème de la crème of the padel French in order to have a chance of winning the competition.
By observing the names on the list, it is clear that two teams stand out from the lot: that of the All In Décines and that of Big Padel.
Let's start with Big padel. Made up of: Jérémy Scatena, Adrien Maigret, Yann Auradou, JT-Peyrou, Jérôme Inzerillo and Benjamin Grue, the team is very solid. Led by experienced players like Scat' and Maigret, and players in great shape over this second half of the season (like Benjamin Grue), this team has everything to go far in the competition.
The second favorite team is that of All In Decines. If the names mentioned within the Big padel have something to make you tremble, wait to see those brought together by the team of the All In Decines. With in its ranks Ben Tison, Johan Bergeron, the Spaniard Teo Zapata and the Swede Simon Vasquez but also Norman Sanchez & Benjamin Joulot, it will be the team to beat during these interclubs. And although we are never safe from a surprise, it will be very difficult to foil this monumental armada.
If for men, it is quite easy to identify “on paper” the favorites, for women it is a different story. Why ? Because the teams are much more homogeneous than they are among the gentlemen. And yet, if we observe the current context with a slight hint of subjectivity, we can see that two teams stand out by a short head:
Yes, but it won't be that simple.
Apart from the “competition” part, the logistical aspect is an important detail to take into account. This is why the hotel Courtyard Toulouse Airport was chosen as a partner to offer quality services and guarantee preferential rates to teams wishing to stay there.
