The development of padel in France is doing well. All the indicators are in constant progression over the last 4 years. To meet ever-increasing demand, the infrastructure offer is notably boosted by the National Sports Agency, with a target of 1 additional tracks by 000.
The FFT estimates that there are 300.000 players of padel in France, an increase of +275% over 4 years. For the most optimistic, this total would approach the 500.000 practitioners.
In France, we note a 28% increase in football clubs padel. Good progress, and major projects are planned for 2023 / 2024...
This is one of the stats of the month: the FFT announces that 43% of practitioners are under 30 years old. A particularly young population for a sport which some say is mainly aimed at the over 50s.
The FFT has 1 tracks of padel in October 2022, an increase of 32% in 1 year and 195% over 4 years.
By 2024, the FFT hopes for 1000 new tracks of padel built, in particular thanks to the support of the National Sports Agency (ANS).
