Premier Padel hit hard in Argentina by proposing an international event where all the ingredients were gathered to allow this sport to pass the stages to the ultimate stage: the Olympic Games.
The president of the International Federation of Padel (FIP), Luigi Carraro, had very strong words after what he called a success “history for the padel” at Aconcagua Arena.
Nearly 180 countries affected by this stage in Mendoza, 55.000 spectators, including 11.000 just for the final, a rare emotion with in particular an exceptional public entirely devoted to King Bela.
Not to mention the announcements of the FIP with padel at the South American Games this year.
“What happened these days in Argentina marked a historic step for the padel, as we attract more and more fans from all over the world – the energy and momentum of our sport is quite amazing. I believe the padel is fast becoming one of the biggest sports on the planet. To do this, you have to put the players at the heart of everything and have the best partners.”
