“Making Rome the Wimbledon of padel"

These are the words of the President of the Italian Tennis Federation, who was delighted to welcome one of the 4 "Majors" of Premier Padel.

“For us it is historic, because the Italian Tennis Federation is starting to organize a big event of padel. We are doing the opposite of what it would be normal to do, because instead of starting from the bottom, we are starting from the top, and thanks to the International Federation of padel and President Luigi Carraro, we will have a sort of Wimbledon of padel à Rome, since the tournament at the Foro Italico will be a Major, one of the four most important in the world”, expressed Angelo Binaghi at the Italy Major's press conference last May.

Will the Foro Italico be able to create a strong identity to become a historic place in the padel ? Time will tell!
