Nerone: “Tolito is not a normal player”

Asked by our colleagues biz-padel, Sebastian Nerone, Los Angeles Beat coach in Pro Padel League, returned to one of the attractions of the American League, Tolito Aguirre. The Argentinian, who won the second stage of the PPL with the Beat, is off to a great start to the season, as evidenced by his three titles on the A1 Padel with Gonzalo Alfonso.

With his atypical style, the whimsical native of Buenos Aires leaves no one indifferent, not even the former world number 1 Nerone: “In the United States, sport is a show. Tolito is the show. It's a pleasure to have Tolito on the team even if sometimes I want to kill him. He tries things a normal player could never imagine, but Tolito is not a normal player! He is very surprising, but very pleasant most of the time.”

A1 Reference Padel, Tolito showed great things at the start of the season on Ultimate Padel Tour against experienced players from Premier Padel, so much so that many fans would like to see him more often against players from other circuits. The LA Beat coach understood this very well:

“He performs well because his personality means he doesn't want to lose against anyone. In this league, he has the opportunity to compete against players he doesn’t usually play against.” And for the moment it is working rather well given the results of the one who won big matches in men with Javi Leal and in mixed with Jessica Castello.

In your opinion, will we one day see the Tolito phenomenon on the Premier Padel ?
