The 12th European Championships padel of the FIP start tomorrow in Marbella, with the qualifications. Let's see how this will be organized.
For the first time, a qualifying phase will be held during the FIP European Championships. A small event, which clearly shows how the padel is getting bigger ! In total, 400 players from 18 countries will meet in Marbella!
The previas begin tomorrow saturday june 26 and end on Sunday. Sunday afternoon is draw of the table by selections that will take place.
Remember that the European Championships will take place at Parque Comercial La Cañada in Marbella, where part of the WPT Marbella Master matches were held, and where the Spanish Under 23 Championships were held.
These are in all 13 tracks (8 indoors, 5 outdoors) which will allow all the matches to be disputed. So no worries in case of rain since the 8 indoor courts will ensure the good performance of the matches in whatever conditions. No fear anyway since it's already 30 degrees in Andalusia, with a big blue sky! The party may be beautiful!
This is how the days will be organized from Monday. The mornings will be reserved for the Open tournament, while the matches by country will take place in the afternoons.
The finals of the Open and the team tournament will be played on Saturday !
Spectators will be able to come and see the meetings that will take place outside. For safety reasons, it will be possible to enter freely until you reach the 85% of the site's capacity, after which entries will no longer be allowed.
Always because of the health situation, spectators will not be able to attend meetings that will be held indoors.
