The TCS weekend started this Saturday morning with the visit of Bernard Giudicelli. On this occasion, the President of the French Tennis Federation will have been able to attend a dance padelo-choreographed prepared and performed by local players to the music of Jérusalema (see photo above); and which will have been repeated several times during the weekend.
On the field side, the Strasbourg club had planned 2 tournaments: a P100 Women and a P100 Men. On the start line on Saturday morning, 12 men's teams and 12 women's teams ; for each tournament, 2 pools of 4 teams were organized on Saturday with the stake, 4 tickets for the Sunday final table.
As pointed out by Arnaud Perozeni, linchpin of the weekend, “bringing together 12 teams in the women's table is a great success for us; we hope that this will be emulated for the next women's tournaments in the region** “. Arnaud, alias DJ Lobo, the players will also have found him behind the decks for the players party Saturday night.
On the Men's tournament, the first surprise came from the 1/1 of the Final where the Mulhouse pair Flavien BISCHOFF & Quentin OCHSENBEIN dropped the seed number 2. They could not repeat such a performance against Romain GLANTZMANN & Ivan VUKOVIC, who then won the title by beating Diego ADAM & Arnaud PEROZENI.
In women, the 4 seeds will have held their rank by reaching the semi-final. For the last dance of the table, we found in the final Perrine ARNOULD & Uta BARDENHORST face Ilona GOMEZ KLEIN & Luna GOMEZ. After 3 disputed sets, the latter had the last word. Nathalie ALIDOR & Perrine GUINGAND they took 3rd place.
