If on Saturday Yanis Muesser & Alexandre Seyller had demonstrated mastery in qualifying ', this Sunday was the day of confirmation for the young Strasbourg pair. Even if the seeds could have sensed the threat coming, especially after Seyller's P250 final last week, no one had bet on their presence in the final on Sunday night.
And yet, after a breathless quarter-final won in the super tie-break against Anthony Kohlmann / Baptiste Obert (n ° 4), references from padel local, the 2 “underdogs” reversed the steam in 1/2 against the solids Maxime Larose & Jérémy Macchi to open the doors to a first grand final together!
On the other side of the table, Teri Groll & Diego Garcia traced their course sharply in both 1/4 and 1/2 where the resistance of Jonathan Gomez & Gaetan Schloesslin was broken, despite some good rallies.
Groll / Garcia continued their momentum in the final, facing their outsiders (no doubt a little taken by the event) to further establish their local supremacy which is just waiting to be confirmed at the national level. Macchi / Larose taking 3rd place.
