Play at padel Paris: hell!

How hard to play padel in Paris ! No club of padel, Intra-muros Paris as we are in 2022. What projects? Why so many difficulties?

The projects are coming

Le padel is the sport in vogue in France as elsewhere. All continents are affected by the wave padel. However, despite the strike force of France, French results internationally, of a French Tennis Federation which stands out in the landscape of federations linked to the padel, Paris is missing.

Yes you will find clubs of padel in the Paris region, but nothing in Intra-muros Paris. For Parisian fans of padel, you will have to take your car. And yes ! What a crime!

But the good news is that this year there will be padel. We say land and not clubs of padel in the noble sense of the term. But it will already be a good start and it will fill this great void.

A priori, the UCPA should open padel in the first half of 2022.

Thus in the north of Paris, 2 indoor courts will be built. The UCPA also plans to build a club of padel in Paris 15 rue Castagnary. But here too, the project has been postponed several times.

Clubs of padel in Paris in the viewfinder

The good news comes from the Tennis Club de Paris (TCP) for a long time on its project padel which could hatch by the summer holidays. 2 lots we are told. If this materializes, it will be very good news for the players of padel in the west of Paris.

Home Padel Dos could finally see his project succeed in the first crown in Asnières-sur-Seine. This time it will be a real club of padel with at least 4 fields of padel. The project even speaks of 6 pitches. There were a lot of ups and downs. But we hope that this club will come out of the ground by the end of the year.

We remain positive, there are many projects. Admittedly, the prices for building are very high in Paris. And inevitably, only the already existing clubs will be able to put padel because land is too expensive there. The UCPA, the leading sports association, also has a role to play in setting up these padel Paris.
