Premier Padel Brussels P2 – Brea/Gonzalez wins the arm wrestling against Salazar/Icardo

Big battle on the central Premier Padel Brussels P2, during the second women's semi-final opposing Brea/González à Salazar/Icardo. The match will have lasted more than 2h30 between these two teams… and three sets to decide between them.

The first set was clearly dominated by the 4th seed, Icardo/Salazar. Tamara and Alejandra won 58% of points in this first act (On 34 59). They were, of course, broken once but twice managed to take the service of their opponents of the day. It was therefore logical that they won the first set 6/3.

The second round was much tighter. The level of play of the two teams was equalized and both teams managed to keep their commitments. 0 break point converted, despite an opportunity for each pair. The second round therefore headed towards a tie-break, once again, very balanced. However, it was the turn of Delfi Brea and Bea Gonzalez to take the lead and come back in this match: 7/6(4).

The decisive round was, for its part, much more expeditious. The world numbers 2, in a hurry to put an end to it, inflicted a severe 6/0 to Tamara Icardo and Alejandra Salazar, who did not hesitate throughout this meeting.

Delfi Brea and Bea Gonzalez will meet tomorrow, for the final, Gemma Triay et Claudia fernandez, who also fought a big battle against Josemaria/Sanchez today. Final to follow, in full, on the Canal Plus group channels.
