Premier Padel presents its 2023 calendar!

We waited for it with some impatience, Premier Padel has just unveiled its calendar for the 2023 season.

As you will see, the circuit financed by Qatar Sports Investments has decided to bet on continuity, with eight tournaments again offered this season. And it is the cities that hosted the new official FIP circuit last season that have been renewed, as explained by Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, president of the circuit:

“We are delighted to announce our tournaments for 2023, returning to the cities and venues that have hosted Premier Padel so warmly last year. Players will always remain at the heart of everything we do. We look forward to another spectacular season of Premier Padel. "

Indeed, once again, there will be 4 Major and 4 P1, the season beginner in Doha, and ending in Milan. Note all the same some differences, with in particular the tournament at Roland-Garros, which will take place this year in September and not in July.

  • QATAR MAJOR : February 26 – March 5
  • ITALY MAJOR: July 10 – 16
  • MADRID P1 : July 17 – 23
  • MENDOZA P1 : July 31 – August 6
  • PARIS MAJOR : September 4 - 10
  • NEWGIZA P1 : October 30 – November 5
  • MEXICO MAJOR : November 27 – December 3
  • MILANO P1 : December 4 – 10

As the president of the circuit, the president of the FIP, Luigi Carraro, welcomes this new schedule:

“2023 will be an incredible year for the padel at professional and amateur level, supported by another spectacular series of events Premier Padel in the whole world. I'm glad to see that Premier Padel continues to focus on player welfare, building on the great and incredible successes of the past year. At the FIP, with Premier Padel, the Association of Padel Professional and our fans, we are excited to continue this incredible journey together.”

The athletes concerned also went there of their word via the PPA:

“The players are delighted to play on the circuit Premier Padel again this year. Last season the padel professional has been elevated to a new level and this season we look forward to building on those successes and elevating the padel to greater importance and higher international standards. Premier Padel is a truly internationally oriented circuit, with world-class facilities and venues and professionalism at the heart of the organisation. The PPA and our members are looking forward to the Major which will open the season in Qatar at the end of the month”.

  • I am worried about the Toulouse tournament which falls between two Spanish WPT Masters after a very busy month of May and before a crazy month of July with two WPT tournaments and two Premier tournaments. Some pairs may stall to rest.
