As part of the next Roland-Garros tournament, the French Tennis Federation is renewing, for French players, the merit process when awarding wild-cards for the main tournament and for the qualifiers.
This award for the main draw (two invitations) and for the qualifications (three for the ladies and four for the men), is based on the respect of the sporting fairness.
Set up by the National Technical Department, this process, which is part of the federal project "Agir et Gagner 2020", aims to encourage French players to participate in national tournaments in order to promote them, to develop the culture of winning and merit but also to help young people to progress on the circuit.
