Both for men and women, we had some nice surprises like the Silingo / Allemandi pair who released Stupa and Diaz before making 3 sets against Maxi and Sanyo. Among the girls, watch out for Noguiera / Martin who surprise the number 1 Triay / Sanz, put 2 sets to Tenorio / Gonzalez and make the M & M´s sweat in the first set 7/6 before releasing and losing 6/2.
From the show: The padel feminine hardened. We see very big defenses with players able to hold very long points. In future tournaments, will we see a little more power? The men when they offered us the show we expected. Great strikes, extraordinary defenses, endless exits. Note the new strategy of Paquito and Juan Lebron. Hello and thank you for this report. I would be curious to read a more in-depth analysis of the Navarro / Lebron strategy, which has paid off (especially against Belasteguin / Lima) and goes against what is usually done. It seems to me that it is interesting to change sides several times per game, whether it is the service to disrupt the receiver, or even return to vary the type of return. And why not imagine the game in the Australian, as it is practiced in tennis, with interception by the volleyball player?
Finally, what are the limits and disadvantages of this type of game, which did not allow Navarro and Lebron to muzzle Gutierrez / Sanchez in the final?
