WPT separations: around Lamperti / Yanguas

Interviewed by our colleagues from Digital Freedom, Miguel Lamperti confided that he would not continue with Miguel Yanguas in 2022.

The broom of the pairs is in full swing on the World Padel Tour. After Sanz / Silingo last night, here we learn today of the separation of Miguel Yanguas and Miguel Lamperti. The two men who finished the season with a semi-final in Mexico City therefore decide to end an adventure that began last July.

A decision that seems surprising since the two players who finished close to qualifying for the Master Final (Lamperti finished 18th in the Race, Yanguas 19th) seemed to agree well on the track. They also get along very well outside, as the 43-year-old explains in the interview.

“It's difficult because we are very friends, but I have a very strong temperament and he too, that's why we preferred to keep our friendship and stop there before“ killing each other ”. I have a great relationship with him, he treats me like a father, my wife treats him like a son, but because of my temper, I couldn't give him what he asked for. "

Lamperti, who recently extended with Nox for two years, also said he would reveal the name of his new partner after the Master Final.
