Tennis and padel : 2 different sports

Considered by some to be a sport halfway between tennis and squash, the padel must be played in double. The racket is a stringless wooden bat with a pierced sieve that absorbs vibrations, which are called " shovel " in Spanish.

The ball is the same as the tennis ball, but with less pressure so that it bounces less. The court, smaller than a tennis court, is surrounded by glass walls and fences. Counting points at padel is similar to that of tennis (15, 30, 40, in 2 winning sets with decisive game in case of a tie at 6 games everywhere). Players can use glass walls to return the balls or to challenge opponents making the sport very lively and spectacular.
