The King of Spain Felipe VI and Queen Letizia congratulated, via a press release, the double victory of the Spanish selections at the World Championships in Qatar. The FEP made this press release public yesterday on its social networks.
We know it, the royal house and the padel have always had a very special relationship. A short of padel had notably been installed in the royal palace.
“We watched the finals with great emotion. (…) We want to congratulate the players, the coaches and the technical staff. ”, We can read in the message sent to the FEP.
Is this a first step towards perhaps a reception of the players at the palace in a few years? Given the trajectory of padel, we have no doubts.
