THE SPECIFICATIONS: TOURNAMENTS PADEL P1000

  • Prize money of 1000 € or more per event (lots not counted)
  • Application for homologation: at least 8 weeks before the start of the tournament
  • Referee: JAT2 minimum (the JA of a P 1000 can not in any player of the tournament he organizes)
  • Arbitration of non-compulsory parties
  • P 1000 Men: minimum teams per event - selected according to the Ranking of Padel. Attention: 24 minimum male teams are required for a P 1000, however:
    • If the tournament has 8 teams 23, it will be approved in P 500 and not P 1000. The prize money will however have to be distributed as originally announced
    • If the tournament has 4 to 7 teams, it will then go to P 250, the announced prize money to be distributed
    • If the tournament has less than 4 teams, the event may take place but will not be homologated. The prize money announced initially will have to be distributed
  • P 1000 Women or Mixed: 12 teams minimum per event - selected according to the Ranking of Padel. Attention: 12 minimum teams are required for a P 1000 Ladies or Mixed, however:
    • If the tournament has 8 to 11 teams, the points distributed will be equivalent to those of a P 500 and not a P 1000. The prize money will however have to be distributed as originally announced
    • If the tournament has 4 to 7 teams, it will then go to P 250, the announced prize money to be distributed
    • If the tournament has less than 4 teams, the event may take place but will not be homologated. The prize money announced initially will have to be distributed

       P 1000 Gentlemen:

  • P 1000 Gentlemen's tournaments are open to Clubs with a minimum of 3 homologated pitches (covered or uncovered) on the same site, and having a minimum clear height of 7m.
  • For P 1000 Gentlemen only, it is desirable that a "central" court (main court) can allow players to leave the field, on both sides, from the semi-finals.

P 1000 Ladies or Mixed:

  • P 1000 Ladies or Mixed tournaments are open to Clubs with a minimum of 2 homologated pitches (covered or uncovered) on the same site, and having a clear height of 7m minimum.

For any P 1000 tournament, Men, Women or Mixed:

  • A kinesitherapist or osteopath must be made available free of charge throughout the competition.
  • A weight room, warm up should be made available free of charge throughout the competition.
  • Catering possible on site (fee).
  • A “players' evening”, in the form of a dinner at the Club (for a fee), must be organized and offered to participants the day before the last day.
  • Sports formula:
    • the Final Men's Table must have 24 minimum teams
    • the Final Ladies or Mixed Table must have 12 minimum teams
  • Format (s) matches:

P 1000 Gentlemen & Ladies:

  • Qualifications: at the choice of the organizer
  • Final score: up to 1 / 8e finals: 1 or 2 format
  • Quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals: mandatory 1 format
  • Possible classification matches: at the choice of the organizer

P 1000 Mixed:

  • Formats at the choice of the organizer so as to respect, if a player participates in DM and DMX, or a player in DD and DMX, the rules relating to the maximum number of matches per day depending on the formats used.

Classification matches: be careful, if classification matches have been announced, they will have to be played and will award the points corresponding to the final ranks obtained (see points scales). A pair not wishing to play in the classification matches will in fact obtain the last rank corresponding to their round of the table.

  • 3 new balls for each game (except classification matches where new balls are not required)
  • The tournament must take place on 4 maximum days.
