Video – Stupa injured by a billboard, the reactions are not long in coming

Franco Stupaczuk was forced to retire this Friday in the quarter-finals of the Premier Padel Madrid P1 against Momo Gonzalez and Sanyo Gutiérrez.

Attempting to leave the track on a Par 3 of Gonzalez, the Argentinian tripped over a billboard and suffered a heavy fall.

Not really injured to speak of, Franco nevertheless seemed to suffer from several bruises, which forced him to withdraw from the game.

As you can imagine, billboards are already in the eye of the storm. Miguel Benitez was one of the first to draw, he who had already pointed out to the organization that the panels were too close to the field for his taste...

After the lights of these same panels, which had annoyed Victor Ruiz, it is now their dangerousness that is pointed out. A delicate subject, since it is partly thanks to these panels that players can benefit from better remuneration…

So what to do with those ads that surround the tracks? We are waiting, as often, for your informed opinions!

  • Why not replace the hard panels with fairly flexible canvas. In this case, players who come into contact with the panels will not trip.
