World Seniors Plus 2024 Open (M): four French pairs in the semi-finals, and the psychological advantage gained against the Italians!

Before facing Italy this afternoon in the quarter-finals of the nations competition, ten players from the French Seniors Plus team played their quarter-finals of theOpen this Thursday noon.

And we can say that the days follow one another and are similar for the Blues. Indeed, four of the five teams entered won. The only defeat of the day being that of the pair Carité / Kischkewitz, beaten in more than 50 years by the Spaniards Sager and Raya.

The pairs Moreau / Maigret and Armagnac / Cazes – Carrere had to fight to win matches in three sets but held on. Victories all the more important as they were won against Italian pairs. Before facing this afternoon (at 16:00 p.m.) the Squadra Azzura of former professional player Tamame (who lost with Fanti against Armagnac / Cazes – Carrere), France is already taking the psychological advantage!

It should also be noted that the duos Jean-Michel Pequery / Sébastien Corbelli and Lagloire / Launo continued their flawless performance with victories in straight sets. Enough to fill up on confidence for this afternoon!
