Favorites from their quarter-final this morning at WPT Alfafar Challenger, Alix Collombon and Jessica Castello did not tremble. We will meet them tomorrow in the semi-finals.
As every time since the start of the season on the Challenger circuit, the Franco-Spanish pair meet again for the semi-finals! This morning in Alfafar, Alix and Jessica have done the work to dispose in two sets of Nuria Rodriguez and Claudia Jensen: 6/4 6/1.
Thanks to this success, they will play for a new place in the final tomorrow against Lorena Rufo and Marta Talavan.
Although Castello and Collombon are seeded 4 and their opponents seeded 3, the Frenchwoman and her partner will be the favorites tomorrow. Indeed, they remain on 3 consecutive victories against Talavan and Rufo!
Note that Alix is now the only Frenchwoman still in the running since Léa Godallier and Ariadna Cañellas lost this afternoon against the seed 1, Amatriain / Navarro (6/4 6/2).
