Finalists last week in Madrid, Ale Ruiz and Momo Gonzalez are in good shape! The “Malagueños” dominated Agustin Tapia and Sanyo Gutiérrez in the semi-finals this Friday evening in Amsterdam.
In another three-set match, Ale and Momo beat the odds against the tournament's No. 2 seed.
Although they won fewer points than the Argentines, the Spaniards were much more solid when needed, as evidenced by the decisive 8 points won out of 10. After losing the first set, Momo and Ale went back to coal to win a hotly contested match, which lasted 2h30.
