After having eliminated the seeded 5, Dominguez / Melendez yesterday, Mario Huete and Jose Jimenez Casas did it again today by winning against Jose Solano and Adrian Blanco. A victory in two sets, 6/4 6/4 which allows them to reach the semi-finals of this Getafe Challenger. A very good performance for this pair which was clearly not one of the favorites.
Tomorrow is a very big game that awaits Mario and Jose against Jon Sanz and Miguel Lamperti, number 1 pair of the tournament!
The other semi-final will pit the 3rd seed, Piñeiro/Martinez, against Bautista/Garcia, who created a little surprise by eliminating Salva Oria and Rafa Mendez, seed 2 in a very big match: 6/7 6 /3 6/3.
