With 5 titles won in 2020, Juan Lebron and Ale Galan have already won as many tournaments as Lebron and Paquito Navarro last season.
The numbers 1 of 2020 already have equaled the numbers 1 of 2019 ! In just 8 tournaments, Ale Galan and Juan Lebron have already won 5 tournaments on the World Padel Tour, as much as the best pair of the previous season, Juan Lebron always, and Paquito Navarro.
With again 3 tournaments to play (Alicante, Vigo, and the Master Final) in this shortened season (11 tournaments planned instead of 17 from last year), it's a safe bet that they will do better than Lebron / Navarro last season. They might even equal the mark of Gutierrez / Sanchez in 2018 or Lima / Belasteguin in 2017. A performance that would be incredible with 6 fewer tournaments.
We are not there yet, but whatever happens, this 2020 exercise will remain like that of Lebron and Galan, since no pair can do better than them this season ! Sometimes criticized, Juan Lebron is clearly the strong man of the previous two years!
