The men's quarter-finals of the Estrella Damm Open World Padel Tour still gave rise to a lot of spectacle, with very close encounters.

This morning, Paquito Navarro and Pablo Lima had all the trouble in the world to get rid of Uri Botello and Javi Ruiz, a pair always very solid. The seeded number 1 had to give everything to get out of the trap: 7/5 3/6 6/4.

The match that followed at the Madrid Arena was also the scene of a huge shock between Argentines, won by forceps by Chingotto / Tello facing Sanchez / Diaz: 7/6 2/6 7/6. The young players trained by Gabi Reca, will have saved two match points in the third set, before the show “El Gato” Tello sealed the game.

After this crazy encounter, it was a third match in three sets, which saw the victory of Stupaczuk / Gutierrez, who recovered well after losing the first leg against Bela / Tapia: 3/6 6/2 6/2.

The last match of the day is the only one not to have decided in three sets. Lucas Campagnolo and Juan Martin Diaz had a good match but Ale Galan and Juan Lebron were just too powerful to be worried about today. Dominant in the air, young Spaniards have won 6 / 3 6 / 4 in just over an hour of a match.
