It was a crazy match that launched the men's quarter-finals in Vigo. Indeed, Momo Gonzalez and Sanyo Gutiérrez came out of it at the end of the suspense and after 3h30 of play against Paquito and Chingotto.
After a first set won by Chingotto and Navarro, the two pairs offered us a second act of anthology, won by Momo and Sanyo after an unbreathable tie-break, which will have seen “El Mago” save an incredible ball at 6/6, before equalizing at a set everywhere a few seconds later.
The third set was also going to offer us a very nice dose of spectacle, and it was after another decisive game that the ranking favorites were going to win the victory (4/6 7/6 7/6) and qualify for the semi-final. As you will see below, Paquito will have once again put on a show but it will not have been enough to walk away with the victory.
