Since the post-COVID period we have seen an increase in the number of practitioners pretty much everywhere in the world.
Italy, Sweden are the countries where the padel records the greatest growth on European territory.
But France is not left out. She too is one of those nations that carry the padel global. Thanks to its large number of talented players, but also to these amateur competitors who are increasingly present in the four corners of the country.
15 182.
It is the number of players of padel classified in October 2021.
This represents an increase of 39% in one year.
In fact, at the same period in 2020 we had 10 classified, or 917 less than today!
Today it has been identified 13 competitors ranked versus 9 for the year 375 in the same month.
It's a nice increase of 39% that won't seem to stop there.
It's all the same 3 629 more players who have decided to get laid off and thus get into the deep end of the competition.
Still far behind in terms of practitioners interested in competition, the ladies nevertheless continue to be more and more attracted by the padel.
In fact, in one year, the number of female competitors rose from 1 to 2 178 in one year, i.e. + 41%.
Slightly more than the men.
These figures are very encouraging for the future of our discipline and tend to prove once again that nothing can stop the “padelmania ”!
