Qatar 2020 - Qualifying phase kicks off

The Doha World Championships 2020 officially start this Monday, November 15, but some selections start their adventure tomorrow! This is the case of Japan, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Senegal, Qatar and Iran, who will be looking for a place in the main draw! For this, they will go through a preliminary round which takes place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

In group A, the Japan, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt will look for a place in the last square of the qualifying phase. This group seems very open, with three countries in which the padel grows very quickly. At home, can the Emiratis be successful?

In group B, it will be an opposition between the Senegal, Iran, and Qatar. The latter performed well at the FIP Rise in Canet-en-Roussillon with a good level of play shown by the Qataris players. Qatar is therefore the favorite to join “its world”.

This phase of previas of the men's table will allow us to gauge the level of these new selections which are embarking on the padel.
