FIP, QSI and PPA recently announced the outlines of their new circuit. We now know that the tournaments will be divided into four distinct categories : type 1, type 2, type 3 and Master Finals.
The winning pair of Type 1 events, which is roughly the equivalent of a Grand Chelem in tennis, will pocket 2000 points. For type 2 events, comparable to a Master 1000 in tennis, the winners will earn 1000 points. Finally, Type 3 tournaments, which are similar to an ATP 500 in tennis, will see the winners receive 500 points.
As for the Master Finals, it will take place at the end of the year and only the best pairs of the season will be able to participate. However, this Master Finals will only be effective from 2024.

Note that an announcement will be made soon to precisely name each tournament category and reveal its logo.
As for the already existing Cupra Fip Tour, it will continue to operate with five different tournament categories. (see the detail of the categories on the table above)
No fear for players who lose in qualifications since points will be distributed to the winners of the previas. This means that a pair that wins the previas and qualifies but then loses in the first round will be awarded points.
