FIP is looking for clubs in France for its international events. Basically, how does it work?

The different types of FIP tournaments

4 main grades have been set up:

These grades therefore include 7 types of tournaments:

• World Open Championships (Mundial Open)
• 1000 Plus FIP Tournaments
• FIP Tournaments 1000
• 500 FIP Tournaments
• 250 FIP Tournaments
• 125 FIP Tournaments
• FIP 100 or FIP Challenger Tournaments

These competitions depend on the level of the competition, but also and above all on the endowment proposed by the organizer. FIP is sort of following the lead of the most famous franchise in padel : The World Padel Tour.

How are the FIP points distributed?

Price Money tournaments

If the clubs obviously wish, they can integrate their tournament in the FIP. If the specifications depend very much on the type of grade chosen, the price money must be:

• Category FIP 1000 Plus Tournament:
  Men's, minimum US $ 20.000.
  Women's, minimum US $ 10.000.
• Category FIP 1000 Tournament:
  Men's, minimum US $ 10.000.
  Women's, minimum US $ 5.000.

• Category FIP 500 Tournament:
  Men's, minimum US $ 5.000.
  Women's, minimum US $ 2.500.
• Category FIP 125 Tournament:
  Men's, minimum US $ 1.250.
  Women's, minimum US $ 650.
• Category FIP 100 or FIP Challenger Tournament:
  No minimum.
