France: "land of welcome"

We often talk about our French who set off to conquer Spain with the ultimate dream of reaching the final stages of a stage of the World Padel Tour.

Nothing abnormal so far since the high level is played there. But we also see the reverse, the Spaniards who come to France. The French Tennis Federation has set up different grades of tournaments padel. A very good idea to boost the padel French. But the P1000s (These tournaments with a financial endowment of more than 1000 €) attract the best French, but not only… And we therefore see Spanish pairs truster THE first place of the big French tournaments… A good thing?

  • No financially for French players, but yes if we want the overall level to rise.
We only progress by confronting the best, having Spaniards - or Argentines - in the tables is necessarily good for the motivation of French players who wish to take up the challenge.
Because as Audrey Casanova says, not everyone can go and train in Spain ...
Not to mention that there may be a greater media impact, which will strengthen the notoriety of the Padel.
