As part of the 6th tournament of the season, the WPT final of Bueno Aires was held this Sunday evening. She opposed Galan / Mieres to Belasteguin / Lima.
On paper, Bela and Lima were favorites.
Having avoided the 2 main teams of the table, Bela and Lima were offered a unique chance to win their first tournament of the season. A chance all the more beautiful for Bela who played at home.
Facing them, Mieres and Galan had just created the surprise by beating Sanyo and Max Sanchez in half.
Unfortunately the expected shock did not take place, the fault of bad luck and injury to Fernando Belasteguin on a bad support.
Final score 5 / 5 surrender while Belasteguin / Lima had 2 balls set at 5 / 4.
