Joseda Sanchez: “I hold the world record for 24 hours of play in padel"

Despite losing in the fourth round of the WPT Human previas Padel Open alongside his partner Valdes against the pair Goenaga / Quesada (4/6 6/7), the Spanish player Joseda Sanchez took part in the game of questions and answers to Padel Magazine.

“What I appreciate the most is the competition. I really like the padel because it allows me to participate in competitions and fortunately, it is part of my livelihood. However, I also enjoy the training moments.

What I like least about this sport is the lack of time I have to spend with my family and friends.

“Before a match, I usually eat a hearty breakfast and warm up properly. I also like to listen to music that motivates me enormously, and I often vary the genres. I usually start with soothing music, then I move on to more rhythmic and current pieces.”

“I still wear the chain that my father gave me and also a cross that my mother gave me. I also have a few tattoos in tribute to my grandparents, which give me strength and give me a feeling of protection when I go through difficult times or when I need it. “The most incredible experience I have had in the padel is to have set the world record for 24 hours of play. It was an exhausting challenge but hugely rewarding, and it will forever remain a memorable moment in my career.”
