The British charity Parkinson's Guernsey organizes courses padel to help patients with Parkinson's disease.
The association is taking advantage of an awareness day open to the entire community which will be held on Saturday (in Worcester, England) to highlight the benefits of physical activity on managing the symptoms of the disease. On this occasion, the organization will offer interactive demonstrations:
The volunteers declare about this day: “This event aims to raise awareness about Parkinson's disease, provide information and support to people affected by the disease and their loved ones, reassure people affected by Parkinson's disease that they can lead fulfilling lives thanks to locally available support and resources."
On this basis, Parkinson's Guernsey already organizes tennis, football, pickleball and therefore padel one day a week with an approved teacher. THE padel is ideal for offering a complete sporting experience while encouraging social commitment.
