World Seniors Plus 2024 Open (F): Full success for the French with 4 pairs in the final!

The French women continue their crazy adventure at the 2024 Senior Plus Worlds. If the entire team meets in the final tomorrow, four pairs will also try to win the Open title.

Everything seems to be smiling for the French players in Alicante. This afternoon, after having won without problems against Italy, several French pairs still had a final to reach at the Open. Done since they achieve a perfect 4/4.

• +35 years: Charlotte Soubrié / Mélanie Ros wins against Letizia Lo Re / Antonella Cavicchi: 6 / 1 6 / 0.
• +40 years: Julie Pécastaing / Amélie Détrivière defeats Laura Anton / Susana Perez: 6 / 1 6 / 2.
• +45 years: Peggy Maignien / Émilie Loit wins against Maria Victoria Ciccarelli / Natalia Yanina Evaristti: 7 / 5 6 / 3.
• +50 years: Catherine Lalanne / Alexia Dechaume wins the match against Stephanie Gomperts / Iris Sterkenburg: 6 / 3 6 / 3.

The Open finals will be played throughout the day on Saturday. The team final will be played, for its part, from 10h, where the French will try to achieve a major feat against Spain.
