As we told you a few weeks ago, the FFT announced the approval of the tournaments of padel armchair. It is now a reality since next February 17 will be held the first approved tournament of padel armchair. It is organized by the Handisport Antibes Méditerranée (HAM)
Due to the renovation of the grounds at the tennis club of Antibes, the tournament will take place at the club of Nice Giordan. "I limited to six pairs but I had the request to accommodate almost double", confided François Heyraud, referee of the tournament.
“At the base, we organized a friendly meeting every week. As soon as I learned that the tournaments of padel armchair were homologable, I asked the PACA league to be able to homologate this tournament »he explained.
Other tournaments of padel chair should follow. Some are already planned, such as the one in Marcq-en-Barœul on March 12 and 13, or the one in Mulhouse by the end of May. François Heyraud confided himself wishing to organize a second tournament bringing together more pairs which would take place at the end of June-beginning of July in Antibes.
