First for Sara Ruiz Soto and Alicia Blanco who won in a stage of the APT Padel Tour. Mireia Herrada and Laia Rodriguez fought well, but the consistency of their opponents made the difference.
This final between two teams that have lost the same number of sets in the tournament seems very balanced. Ruiz and Blanco, ranked 58th and 62nd in the WPT ranking, make the first break. Immediate reaction of the seeded 2 Herrada / Rodriguez who returns to 3 everywhere. Despite this return to the game, Mireia and Laia play a disastrous game at 5/6 and offer the first round to their opponents.
In the second act, the 100% Cartri pair start with their feet to the ground and break away 3/0. The game then balances out and Herrada / Rodriguez clings to unbreak at 5/3.
As in the first round, Mireia Herrada and Laia Rodriguez crack when serving to come back to 5/5 and leave the title to Sara Ruiz and Alicia Blanco who therefore remain undefeated on the APT circuit!
